Howdy,

I just got back from the seminar and I'm trying to be the first to post.

Fan-friggin-tastic!

Un-friggin-believable!!

Stu-friggin-pendous!!!

I'm sure someone else will write a review or detailed description. All I'll say is that it was one of the best and most successful gatherings of people with slightly different views/backgrounds on/in a common subject in the history of the known (and unknown) universe. Period.

Ikeda Sensei was his usual sublime self, and he let us know that we should try the smoked salmon pizza as well as the ham & pineapple pizza. Peter "The Budo Bum" Boylan Sensei proved his nickname beyond a shadow of a doubt; don't do kokyudosa with him unless you have to. Philip Akin Sensei proved to be a paradox: all those distinct angles & foot positions and yet he threw as soft as any Ki Society instructor that I've worked with (that's supposed to be a compliment). Julian Frost "Sensei" (sorry Julian) was a whirlwind of motion & effectiveness; when he chokes you, please remember to tap out...before you pass out. Alan Drysdale Sensei gave new meaning to the word 'iriminage,' and his class even came with a disclaimer. Finally, Chuck Gordon Sensei's sign-off title also proved to be well deserved. Just put the emphasis on the word 'exquisite.'

Thanks to all who taught and all who practiced.

Jun, you did a GREAT JOB!!

Peace,
JCS
Rocky Mountain Ki Society
